GP trainees are assessed against the version of the curriculum which is in effect at the time they begin their training.
Revised versions of the statements were published in March 2009 and will take effect from 1 August 2009. Changes to the learning outcomes will apply to those beginning their training programmes in August 2009.
It is recommended that all trainees refer to the revised versions as they include updated information and resources.
