RCGP Trainee ePortfolio Version 6.2 Release Notes

The RCGP is pleased to announce that Version 6.2 of the Trainee ePortfolio is now live as of Monday 12 December 2011.
 
This is a minor release, the main item is the updated ARCP form as required by COPMeD/GMC, which includes the following updates:

ARCP Form –

• Split the categories relating to ‘Outcome 8’ Out of Post into the following:
  8i OOPE – Experience
  8ii OOPR – Research
  8iii OOPC – Career Break
• Added ‘expected CCT date’ field.
• Unsatisfactory outcomes reasons have been coded as checkboxes.
• Contextual word pictures provide an overview for each ‘unsatisfactory code’.
• Disabled outcomes ‘7’ and ‘9’ as they are superfluous in the context of the MRCGP.
• Made the ‘period covered’ date boxes mandatory fields.
• Made attaching panel members a mandatory requirement.

Educational Supervisors Report (ESR) –

• Added contextual pop-up ‘warnings’ for updates made on the final page concerning saving changes.
• Improved guidelines concerning the completion of mandatory fields in the competence feedback section.

Deanery Admin –

• Added a report for ‘Trainees with unsigned ARCP’s’.
• Greyed out locations that have been disabled for ease of identification.

General –

• Minor update to the display text for the skills log section to plain text.
• Added pop-up warning for the ‘clear all’ button in the evidence forms e.g. CbD.
• Display updates and tweaks to existing navigation

Database -

• Removed redundant display values in the review summary table.
• Minor code update for PDP storage.
• Fixed a bug for text display in Skills Log and Posts sections.
• Other minor bug fixes.

Additional fixes and updates that are to be introduced will be displayed here in due course.
