RCGP Clinical Skills Assessment Centre

The Clinical Skills Assessment is held in Croydon on purpose-built circuits. Each circuit has 13 consulting rooms. On arrival each candidate is allocated a consulting room and will see 13 patients who move between these rooms with an assessor.

Refreshment zones are available on each floor as are toilet facilities. Candidates will be given a locker in which to keep their personal items on arrival at the centre. Briefing for the assessment will take place in the conference room adjacent to reception.

Procedure

After arrival at reception on the ground floor, take the lift to the 19^th floor where you will check in with College staff. Briefing will take place in the conference room after registration. Candidates will be taken to their consulting room on an allocated circuit.

Hiring the Centre

The College has created a purpose-built assessment centre to test the clinical skills of our future GPs. The centre is available for hire via the centre manager Mark Venkatachellum.
