ePortfolio Version 3.2 Release notes
The RCGP is pleased to announce that ePortfolio Version 3.2 is
now live. This release focuses mostly on administrative changes.
Details of changes can be found below.
Reporting
- We have added in a reporting option for Deanery Administrators.
This will allow the printing and exporting of information within
the ePortfolio. Initially a small number of reports will be
available, but this will grow in time as requirements are
identified. We will be able to add in new reports periodically
without needing a new ePortfolio update each time.
- There is a guide to creating reports at the bottom of the
page.
ARCP
- We have changed the way ARCP panel members are added to the
ARCP form. Instead of typing in each one individually, Deaneries
will be able to maintain their own panel member lists within the
ePortfolio and select these from a dropdown menu when creating the
ARCP.
Events
- Events should now work correctly. Deanery Administrators will
be able to create events for their Deanery and users within their
Deanery will be able to see them.
- For Trainees, you will be able to see upcoming events for your
Deanery under Learning Resources -> Courses
- For all other users you will be able to see upcoming events for
your Deanery under Training Events.
Historical Declarations
- Each time a trainee changes post, they are required to sign the
Declarations and Agreements. It is now possible to see the signing
status for all Declarations in previous posts as well as the
current ones.
Local Administrators
- Local Administrator access was not quite as it should be. They
were not seeing the correct users at all times and could create
users outside their Regions. This has now been corrected and Local
Administrators are only able to interact with their particular
region. However they should now have a better level of access to
that region.
Other Enhancements
- Tidied up some of the review process for Educational
Supervisors. This includes some minor re-labeling and providing
links to flow through the review and removing un-needed links
- Assessment forms – Have improved consistency across forms in
regards to assessor position, have removed SHO as an option on many
forms and replaced SpR with StR. This is in accordance with WPBA
guidance
- Progress to certification – Have replaced the AKT/CSA/CCT
option for Deanery Administrators with the much more useful
Progress to Certification.
- ARCP – Deanery Panel Members will now be able to see ARCPs for
trainees that have been signed by the Panel Chair and are awaiting
the trainee’s signature. This removes the blind spot that existed
previously
Bug Fixes
- Corrected a bug with the free-text field in post creation.
- Corrected a bug where documents with large filenames could not
be uploaded.
- Corrected a bug on reviews that displayed the wrong trainee
location
- Corrected bugs that could give errors when trying to view a
review.
- Minor Text corrections.
