The learning log is potentially one of the most important sources of information of how a trainee is thinking and performing. This training resource is a live ePortfolio designed to help Educational Supervisors assess the quality of a trainees log entries.
The training resource can be used by individual Educational Supervisors, but is ideally meant to be used in small groups at Trainers workshops or similar educational events, where educators can debate their judgements with each other. These small group discussions are important for improving consistency in workplace assessment.
Below you will find handbooks for Educational Supervisors and Facilitators for going through these log entries. There are also paper copies of the logs in question if there are technical problems preventing the use of the ePortfolio.
We do need to stress that this is a live ePortfolio and therefore ask no changes are made to it as this could compromise the integrity of the tool.
